Best dressed at the Proton Tucson Open

The Proton Tucson Open delivered a lot of memorable moments on the court.

From Anna Leigh Waters getting asked to prom to Tina Pisnik hitting a crazy behind-the-back shot to win a match, it was a particularly entertaining tournament, which means the fashion was especially memorable as well.

There were headbands, pops of neon yellow, and adorable pink outfits, so let's take a closer look at the best dressed players from the event.

Layne Sleeth

There’s nothing I love more than a little black tennis dress and this Wilson tiebreaker tennis dress is seriously cute. A classic fit that truly never goes out of style and with a little pop of interest with the white collar, it’s just adorable. Sleeth styled the dress perfectly with a white and black visor, bubble braids, and white shoes.

Anna Bright

There's nothing I love more than when a pro breaks out a new accessory. And as someone who’s always pushing their baby hairs out of their face while playing, I love a headband. Bright debuted a thick new handband in Tucson and I really like this look. It’s functional, fashionable, and very athletic-chic.

Mary and Maggie Brascia

The sisters wore pink the week before Valentine’s Day, and I couldn’t think of a more adorable outfit for the Brascias. Using matching high neck pink tank tops from Amazon as their base, Maggie decided to pair hers with a fit and flare white skirt, and Mary paired hers with a fitted white skirt with a small slit. Both girls look country club chic and the pink color is gorgeous on the court.

Anna Leigh Waters

It’s an exciting day when Waters debuts a new FILA fit. This blue pleated tennis skirt and high neck tank top is styled perfectly with white high socks, white shoes, and a white visor. A gold medal look from the World No. 1.

Federico Staksrud

While everyone was so concerned about Staksrud’s new Adidas paddle, I was more concerned about his fashion - because his JOOLA fits landed him on the best dressed list many times. But thankfully, this glimpse into Staksrud’s Adidas fits seems to be a good one. This two-tone maroon and cherry red T-shirt paired with sleek white shorts, shoes, and a hat, is a comforting sign for more good looks to come.

Hannah Blatt

Blatt is quickly becoming a best dressed regular with her PB5star fits. This all black look with a bright pop of color for the shoes is super fun. The side split skirt paired with a high neck top is flattering and functional. Top it all off with hot pink court shoes and it’s a top-tier look.

Genie Bouchard

To be honest, I can’t tell if I love or hate this outfit. But it’s bold and it’s making one loud statement, so I commend New Balance for that. Bouchard also shared on Instagram, “I may not have won the tournament, but at least I had the cutest outfit.” So if she’s proudly rocking it, I respect it.

Parris Todd

Pink was Todd’s tournament color in Tucson, and goodness was it a good choice. She wore an alo high neck tank top, matching skirt with a slit, pink and white high socks, white visor, and a pink scrunchie. It was a darling look for the women’s singles champion
