# How to Delete Your Pickleball.com Player Account

To delete your Pickleball.com player account, email support@pickleball.com with "Player Account Deletion" in the subject line. Account deletion is permanent — once processed, your profile, play history, ratings, and all associated data are removed and cannot be restored.

> **Warning:** Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, your profile, play history, tournament results, ratings, and all associated data are gone. A new account cannot be created using the same email address. Make sure this is what you want before submitting your request.

## How to request account deletion

1. Send an email to **support@pickleball.com**.
2. Include **"Player Account Deletion"** in the subject line.
3. In the body of the email, include the email address associated with your Pickleball.com account (especially if you're sending from a different email address).
4. Our support team will confirm the request with you before processing it.

You may be asked to verify your identity if the email address you're sending from doesn't match the one on your account, or if the request comes through live chat instead of email.

## What happens when your account is deleted?

When your account deletion is processed:

- Your player profile is permanently removed from Pickleball.com
- Your tournament results, match history, and scorecards are deleted
- Your ratings (both self-rating and any connected DUPR data on Pickleball.com) are removed
- Any club memberships, league registrations, or team associations are ended
- A new account **cannot** be created using the same email address
- None of this data can be restored after deletion

> **Note:** Deleting your Pickleball.com account does not delete your DUPR account. Your DUPR rating and history are managed separately by DUPR. If you also want to delete your DUPR account, you'll need to contact DUPR directly at dashboard.dupr.com.

## Before you delete: alternatives to consider

If you're considering deletion because of a specific issue, there may be a better option:

## How long does deletion take?

After you submit your request and confirm with our support team, account deletion is typically processed within a few business days. You'll receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
