# How to Pay Your Team League Fees and Sign the Waiver

After you've been added to a team in Pickleball Team Leagues (PTL), you'll need to pay your registration fees and sign the league waiver before you're fully registered. Both steps are completed from the same place — the Pending Waivers and Balances page, accessible via the bell icon on any [Pickleball.com platform](/article/how-club-billing-works-on-pickleballcom).

## How to pay your fees and sign the waiver

1. Sign in to your account at [Pickleball.com](https://pickleball.com), PickleballTournaments.com, or PickleballTeamLeagues.com.
2. Look for the **bell icon** in the upper right corner next to your name. If you have an outstanding balance or unsigned waiver, you'll see a notification there.
3. Click the bell and select the **outstanding balance or waiver** notice.
4. You'll land on the **Pending Waivers and Balances** page. This page lists all platforms where you have something outstanding. Click the **Team Leagues** tab.
5. Review the page showing your team name, the cost, and your fellow players. If you have a **discount code**, enter and apply it in the Discount Code section **before** clicking Make a Payment. Discount codes are case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as given.
6. Click **Make a Payment**.
7. Before completing payment, you must read and sign the **waiver**. The waiver page will open — use the scroll bar on the right side to scroll all the way to the bottom. You must reach the end before you can sign.
8. At the bottom of the waiver, type your **last name exactly as it appears in your player profile** in the field labeled "Input your last name to continue." You cannot copy and paste — it must be typed. Then check the agreement box.
9. Click **Make a Payment** again to proceed to the payment page.
10. Fill in your payment details and click **Complete Checkout**. You're done.

> **Note:** The waiver is very long, especially on a phone. Keep scrolling until you reach the very end — you won't be able to sign until you've scrolled all the way through.

## Frequently asked questions

### My discount code isn't working — what should I do?

Check that you entered the code exactly as given — it's case-sensitive. Make sure you applied it before clicking Make a Payment. Discount codes cannot be applied after payment is initiated.

### I can't find the signature field on the waiver.

You won't be able to sign the waiver until you scroll to the very bottom of the document. On a phone this can take a while — keep scrolling past the bottom of what's visible. The signature field only appears once you've reached the end.

### The waiver won't accept my last name — why?

Your last name must be typed exactly as it appears in your Pickleball.com player profile — same capitalization, same spelling. Check your profile if you're unsure. Copy and paste is not allowed for this field.

### I don't see a pending balance or waiver notification.

Check the bell icon on any Pickleball.com platform. If there's nothing showing there, your payment and waiver may already be complete. You can also confirm with your team captain.
