This article covers how to create an event and configure all the core settings that control who can register and how the event is structured.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Chr\u003E\u003Ch2 id=\u0022getting_to_the_events_tab\u0022\u003EGetting to the Events tab\u003C/h2\u003E\u003Cp\u003EFrom your tournament, open the \u003Cb\u003E3-line menu\u003C/b\u003E and select the \u003Cb\u003EEvents\u003C/b\u003E tab. Click the button to create a new event.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Chr\u003E\u003Ch2 id=\u0022core_event_settings\u0022\u003ECore event settings\u003C/h2\u003E\u003Ch3 id=\u0022event_status\u0022\u003EEvent status\u003C/h3\u003E\u003Cp\u003ENew events are created as \u003Cb\u003Edisabled\u003C/b\u003E by default. Like skill, you can add age rule overrides. Participants are never allowed to play up in age from what you have set.
