# How to Manage Your Club Members

The Members screen is where you view, filter, and manage everyone on your [Pickleball Clubs (PC)](https://www.pickleballclubs.com) club's roster — from inviting new members to updating an existing member's status.

By the end of this article, you'll know how to filter your member list, manage an individual member, and invite a new one.

## Before You Begin

- You must be signed in as the primary manager, an Owner, or a manager with Can Edit Club permission.

## Access Members

1. From your club dashboard, go to **Organizations** in the left menu, then click **Members**.
2. The **Club Members** tab is selected by default and shows everyone confirmed as a member of your club. Switch to the **Unconfirmed List** tab to see members who haven't confirmed their membership yet via email or text — they're still full club members and can register for events, but won't receive marketing emails until they confirm.

> **Important:** Members can't be permanently deleted from your club. To remove someone from your active roster, update their Member Status to Inactive instead — this keeps their history on file and matches the Active/Inactive options in the Member Status filter below.

## Filter and search your roster

Use the filter bar above the table to narrow down your member list:

- **Search** — find a member by name or other basic info.
- **Member Status** — filter by Active or Inactive.
- **Balance Due** — filter to members who owe an outstanding balance.
- **Member Plan** — filter by All, Yes, No, or Requires Attention, based on whether the member has an active membership plan.
- **Group/Tag** — filter by any tag you've created.
- **Joined Date From / To** — limit results to members who joined within a specific date range.

Click **Apply** to run your filters, or **Reset** to clear them.

## Read the members table

Each row is one member, with these columns:

- **Actions** — open the three-dot menu to manage that member.
- **Basic Info** — name, phone, and email.
- **Member #** — the member's unique club member number.
- **Joined** — the date they joined your club.
- **Membership** — their current membership plan.
- **Expiration Date** — when their membership plan expires, if applicable.
- **Tags** — any tags assigned to the member.
- **Balance Due** — any outstanding amount they owe.

> **Recommended:** Use the Sync button next to a member, or Sync All Members above the table, to refresh that member's synced rating and match data from your club's connected sources, such as DUPR.

## Manage an individual member

Click the three-dot **Actions** menu next to a member to open:

- **Info** — view and edit the member's basic info and Member Status.
- **Membership** — view or change the member's membership plan.
- **Family** — manage family members linked to this member.
- **Payments** — view the member's payment history.
- **Activities** — view the member's activity within your club.
- **Waivers** — view the waivers this member has signed.
- **Notification Settings** — manage the member's notification preferences.
- **Notes** — add internal notes about the member, visible only to your club's managers.

## Invite a new member

Click **+ Invite** above the table, then choose one of three invite types:

1. **Invite player to join club with no membership plan** — emails the person to let them know they've been invited to join the organization.
2. **Invite player to select and pay for a membership plan** — emails the person a link to the checkout page where they can buy a plan and become a member.
3. **Add player to membership plan and collect payment now** — manually enter the person's information and complete the payment yourself to activate their membership immediately.

Click **Continue** to proceed with the option you selected.

## FAQs

### Can I delete a member instead of making them inactive?

No. Members can't be permanently deleted from your club. Use the Info action to update their Member Status to Inactive instead.

### What's the Unconfirmed List tab for?

It lists members who haven't confirmed their membership via email or text yet. They're still full club members and can register for events, but they won't receive marketing emails until they confirm.

### What does the Member Plan filter's "Requires Attention" option mean?

It flags members whose membership plan needs your review, separate from members who clearly do (Yes) or don't (No) have an active plan.

### What are the three ways to invite a new member?

You can invite someone to join with no membership plan, invite them to select and pay for a plan themselves, or add them to a plan and collect payment yourself right away. Choose the option that fits how you want to onboard that person.
