You'll need a player account, a linked payment method, and — if you're entering a doubles event — your partner's information. This article walks through the full registration process from start to finish. *** ## Before you begin - You must have a Pickleball.com player account. See [How to Create a Player Account on Pickleball.com](#) if you don't have one yet. - A payment method must be on file. See [How to Add a Payment Method to Your Player Account](#). - If registering for a doubles event, you'll need your partner's first name, last name, and email address. - If the tournament uses DUPR ratings for eligibility, your DUPR account must be linked. See [How to Link Your DUPR Account to Pickleball.com](#). *** ## How to find a tournament 1. Log in to your Pickleball.com account. 2. Click the **Tournaments** tab in the top navigation bar. 3. Browse the tournament list or use the search and filter options to find a tournament near you. > **Note:** You can also find tournaments you've already registered for in My Tournaments. See How to Find My Tournaments on Pickleball.com. *** ## How to register 1. Click the tournament name to open its listing page. 2. Click **Register Now**. 3. You'll be asked whether you want to register for an individual event, a team event, or both. Select your registration type. 4. Browse the available events. Select the event(s) you want to enter using the toggle switch next to each one. 5. Click **Next**. > ** Note:** Events are filtered by your rating and age. If an event is grayed out, you don't meet the eligibility requirements. Contact the tournament director if you believe this is incorrect. *** ## Entering partner information (doubles events) For doubles events, you'll need to enter your partner's information: 1. Enter your partner's **first name**, **last name**, and **email address**. 2. Click **Find Partner**. The system will locate their Pickleball.com account. 3. Confirm the correct person has been found, then click **Next**. > **Note:** Your partner must have a Pickleball.com account to be added. If they don't have one, they'll need to create a free account before you can complete registration. *** ## Completing registration 1. Review the event summary, including the event name, your partner (if applicable), and the total cost. 2. If you have a **discount code**, enter it now and click **Apply** before proceeding. 3. Read and sign the **waiver**. You must scroll to the bottom of the waiver before the signature field appears. Type your last name exactly as it appears on your profile. 4. Click **Confirm & Pay**. 5. Enter your payment details and complete checkout. > **Note:** You'll receive a confirmation email once registration is complete. Keep this email — it contains your registration details and a link back to the tournament. *** ## Registering a minor To register a minor for a tournament, the minor must be connected to your account as a managed account. Once connected, you'll see the minor as a selectable player during the registration flow. *** ## Frequently asked questions ### Can I add an event after I've already registered? Go to My Tournaments and find the tournament. If registration is still open, you can add events from the tournament listing page. If registration is closed, contact the tournament director directly using the Contact Tourney link on the tournament listing page. ### How do I withdraw from a tournament after registering? Go to My Tournaments, open the tournament, and look for the Withdraw option. Refund eligibility depends on the tournament's refund policy. See How to Request or Check the Status of a Tournament Refund for details. ### Registration is closed — can I still register? Registration closing dates are set by the tournament director. When registration is closed, the Register Now button will no longer be active. Contact the tournament director using the Contact Tourney link if you need to register after the deadline. ### Does my partner need to register separately? Each player registers and pays individually. Your partner will receive an email notification after you complete registration. They do not need to take any additional action unless the tournament requires both partners to confirm separately. ### Why can't I see certain events during registration? Events are filtered by the rating and age requirements set by the tournament director.
