Staksrud announces end of partnership with adidas Pickleball
It’s been just over five months since Federico Staksrud and adidas Pickleball announced their landmark partnership, but the two parties are already going their separate ways.
In a social media post on Monday morning, Staksrud announced that he and the global sporting giant had “decided to mutually conclude” their partnership.

Here is the full statement:
- "After careful consideration, Adidas and I have decided to mutually conclude our partnership. The team put in incredible effort, working closely with me to create paddles designed for my game. I’m grateful for their professionalism, dedication, and trust. Thank you to everyone at Adidas—I look forward to seeing how they continue to grow the sport." - Federico Staksrud
Staksrud, who left JOOLA after two and a half years to join adidas, actually used an adidas paddle at only one PPA event before switching back to a JOOLA paddle in February at the Carvana Mesa Cup, despite still wearing adidas clothing.
Just got on site for @PPAtour Mesa and I walk past Fed playing on CC... with a Joola, while decked out head-to toe-in adidas gear. Wild stuff to start off R64 day.

That continued until last week’s Select Medical Orange County Cup, where Staksrud noticeably switched to wearing JOOLA apparel.
Now, we know why.
Staksrud has not yet announced if another brand deal is on the horizon, but as the top-ranked men’s singles player on the PPA Tour, he should have no shortage of suitors.
