How to Print an Event Master Copy in PT
A Master Copy is a printout of an event's bracket that you can display on site or keep as a backup. Having printed master copies is especially valuable if internet or software issues arise during tournament day — you can continue running the event manually without losing track of where matches stand.
How to print an event master copy
- From your tournament, open the 3-line menu and select Live Console.
- Under the Waiting tab, find the event you want to print. The event must be verified before a master copy can be printed.
- Click the link icon next to the event name to open the bracket view.
- Click the Print Page button at the top of the bracket to print an exact copy of what you see.
Print master copies after verification and before starting events. Once the event is running, bracket positions may shift as matches are played, making the pre-start print the most useful static reference.
Frequently asked questions
What if I can't find the link icon to open the bracket?
The event must be verified first. If you don't see the bracket link icon, check that the event has completed verification and appears in the Waiting tab.
Can I print the master copy while the event is running?
Yes. The Print Page button prints what's currently visible, so you can reprint at any stage of the event. Keep in mind the printout reflects the bracket state at the time of printing.
