How to Link Your DUPR Account to Pickleball.com
Linking your DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) account to your Pickleball.com profile syncs your official rating across both platforms. Once connected, your DUPR rating displays on your Pickleball.com profile, tournament results automatically update your DUPR, and event organizers can verify your rating during registration. The process takes about a minute.
Before you start
To link your DUPR account, you'll need:
- An existing Pickleball.com player account
- An existing DUPR account with your login credentials ready
If you don't have a DUPR account yet, you can create one for free at dashboard.dupr.com. If you think you may already have a DUPR account but aren't sure, see How to Claim an Already Created DUPR Account before creating a new one — duplicate DUPR accounts can cause rating confusion.
How to connect your DUPR account
- Log in to pickleball.com and click your name in the upper right corner. Select My Profile.
- Click the Edit Profile button.
- Scroll to the DUPR section and click Connect DUPR.
- Click Connect my DUPR to begin the authorization process.
- A new window will open asking you to log in to your DUPR account. Enter your DUPR email and password, and make sure to check the box that says "Allow DUPR to create a new session" before clicking Login.
- Once authenticated, your accounts are linked. Your DUPR rating will now display on your Pickleball.com profile.
What happens after your accounts are linked?
Once your DUPR account is connected to Pickleball.com:
- Your DUPR rating displays on your Pickleball.com player profile
- Tournament and league results from Pickleball.com events automatically update your DUPR rating
- Event organizers can verify your rating when you register for skill-based events
- The platform uses the higher of your DUPR rating and self-rating to determine event eligibility (see How to Edit Your Pickleball Profile for details on self-rating)
How to disconnect your DUPR account
You can disconnect your DUPR account from your Pickleball.com profile one time on your own. After that first disconnection, you'll need to contact support to disconnect again.
To disconnect, go to your Edit Profile section, scroll to the DUPR area, and click Disconnect DUPR. Your disconnection history is tracked and displayed below your DUPR section for reference.
WarningYou can only disconnect your DUPR account once on your own. After that, any further disconnection requests must go through support at support@pickleball.com. This policy exists to prevent rating manipulation. Make sure you're connecting the correct DUPR account before linking.
Troubleshooting
I can't find the Connect DUPR button
Make sure you're in the Edit Profile section (not just viewing your profile). The Connect DUPR button appears in the DUPR section of your editable profile. If you've already connected a DUPR account, this button won't appear — you'll see your connected rating instead.
The DUPR login window doesn't appear
This is usually caused by a pop-up blocker in your browser. Try disabling your pop-up blocker for pickleball.com and dupr.com, then try again. If you're on a mobile device, try switching to a desktop browser.
I connected the wrong DUPR account
If you linked the wrong DUPR account, use your one self-service disconnection to unlink it, then reconnect with the correct account. If you've already used your disconnection, contact us at support@pickleball.com and explain the situation — we can help resolve it.
I have duplicate DUPR accounts
If you have more than one DUPR account, merge them before connecting to Pickleball.com. See How to Merge Duplicate DUPR Profiles for the full walkthrough. Connecting a duplicate account can cause rating inaccuracies and event eligibility issues.
