How to Create and Manage Club Discount Codes

To create a discount code in Pickleball Clubs (PC), go to Edit Organization → Discount Codes, click + Add New Discount Code, set the code, discount amount, and active date range, then save. This guide covers creating a code, setting how long it's good for, and moving codes between Active and Inactive.

How to access Discount Codes

  1. Log into your Club account on Pickleball.com.
  2. Click Manage in the upper right corner.
  3. In the left-hand menu, click Edit (Edit Organization).
  4. In the menu, click Discount Codes.

The Discount Codes screen has two tabs: Active (codes currently usable) and Inactive (codes kept on file but not usable). If you don't have any codes yet, you'll see a message that reads "Discount codes not found."

Adding a discount code

  1. Click + Add New Discount Code.
  2. Enter a Title for the code (up to 40 characters). This is the internal name you'll see when managing the code — make it clear enough that you'll recognize it later (for example, "Summer 2026 Member Special").
  3. Enter the Code members will type in at checkout. You can either type your own (e.g. SUMMER25) or click Generate to have Pickleball.com create a random code for you.
  4. Enter the Discount Amount and choose the type from the dropdown: $ for a flat dollar amount off, or % for a percentage discount.
  5. In Number issued, enter the maximum number of times this code can be redeemed. Leave blank if you don't want a usage cap — the code will keep working until you deactivate it or the date range expires.
  6. Under Date Active, use the From and To date pickers to set when the code is valid. You can schedule a code to activate in the future or run through a specific end date.
  7. Click Save at the bottom.

Once saved, the code appears under the Active tab and is ready for members to use within the date range you set (subject to the redemption cap, if any).

Note

The Generate button creates a random alphanumeric code you can use as-is or edit before saving. Random codes are harder to guess than obvious ones like SAVE10, which is useful if you're sending the promotion to a specific list of members and don't want it shared publicly.

Active vs Inactive tabs

Discount codes live in one of two tabs:

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between Number issued and the Date Active range?

Number issued caps how many times the code can be redeemed — once that limit is reached, the code stops working even if the date range is still open. Date Active caps when the code is valid — once the To date passes, the code stops working even if the usage cap hasn't been reached. Use them together to control your promotion ("first 50 uses, June 1–30 only") or leave either one blank to make that limit unlimited.

Do I have to fill in Number issued?

No. Leave it blank if you don't want a usage cap. In that case, the code stays usable until either the Date Active To date passes or you move the code to Inactive.

Can I schedule a code to activate in the future?

Yes. Set the From date to a future date. The code will be saved and appear on the Active tab, but members won't be able to redeem it until the From date arrives.

Can I edit a discount code after saving it?

Yes. From the Discount Codes screen, click into any existing code to update its title, code, amount, usage cap, or date range. Save your changes when done.

What happens if I move an active code to Inactive?

The code immediately stops working — members trying to redeem it will get an error. All the code's details stay intact, though, so you can move it back to Active any time to resume the promotion.

Can I run more than one discount code at the same time?

Yes. You can have multiple codes on the Active tab simultaneously. Members redeem one code per transaction, so overlapping promotions typically don't stack — whichever code the member enters at checkout is the one that applies.

Should I type my own code or use Generate?

Use a custom code (like SUMMER25) for public promotions you want members to remember. Use Generate for codes you plan to send to a specific list of people — a random string is harder to guess and share around.
