How to Create a Player Account on Pickleball.com
Creating a player account on Pickleball.com is free and takes about two minutes. You can sign up with your Google or Apple account for one-tap registration, or create an account with your email or mobile number. Once your account is created, you can register for tournaments, join leagues and clubs, track your ratings, and connect your DUPR profile.
Before You Start
To create your account, you'll need:
- An email address or mobile phone number (this becomes your login)
- A password (at least 8 characters, with a combination of letters, numbers, or special characters)
- Your date of birth
- Your self-rated skill level (you can change this later)
How to Create Your Account
Pickleball.com offers a few ways to create an account. Choose whichever is most convenient for you.
Option A: Continue with Google or Apple
The fastest way to create your account:
- Go to pickleball.com and click Sign Up in the upper right corner or go to this direct signup/login link.
- At the top of the sign-up form, click the Google or Apple button under "Continue with."
- Authenticate with your Google or Apple account.
- Complete any remaining profile fields (name, date of birth, self rating, gender) and agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
- Click Continue to finish account setup.
Option B: Sign up with email or mobile number
The sign-up form walks you through two steps: Account Info and Personal Info.
Step 1: Account Info
- Go to pickleball.com and click Sign Up in the upper right corner.
- Enter your First Name and Last Name.
- In the Mobile number or email field, enter either your phone number or email address. This becomes your login.
- Create a Password. It must be at least 8 characters long and include a combination of letters, numbers, or special characters.
- Enter your Date of birth using the month, day, and year dropdowns.
- Select your Self rating from the dropdown. If you're new to pickleball or unsure, choose the level closest to your ability — you can update this anytime from your profile.
- Select your Gender.
- Check the box to agree to the Pickleball Inc Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
- Click Continue to proceed to Step 2: Personal Info.
Step 2: Personal Info
Complete the remaining profile fields (location, playing preferences, and other optional details). Once finished, your account is created and ready to use.
WarningYour sign-in method is permanent. If you create your account with Google or Apple, you'll always sign in that way — you can't switch to email/password later, and vice versa without the help of admin. Choose the method you'll want to use long-term.
NoteEach email address and phone number can only be linked to one Pickleball.com account. If you see an error saying your email or phone is already in use, you likely already have an account — try signing in or resetting your password instead of creating a new one.
Creating an account for a child (age 16 and under)
If you're creating an account for a minor, check the I am creating an account for a child (age 16 and under) checkbox at the top of the sign-up form before filling in the child's information. What to Do After Creating Your Account
Your account is ready to use immediately, but a few optional steps will make your experience better:
- Connect your DUPR account. If you have a DUPR rating, linking it to your Pickleball.com profile ensures your rating is accurate for tournament and league registration.
- Upload a profile photo. A clear headshot helps other players recognize you on and off the court. Photos go through a brief approval process.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I create my profile using non-English characters?
Yes. Pickleball.com fully supports Unicode characters, including Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, and other scripts, as well as decorative symbols commonly used in usernames and bios. All special characters, diacritics, and non-standard symbols display correctly across the entire platform — including usernames, biographies, comments, and any other input fields.
Why does it say my email or phone number is already in use?
An account already exists with that email or phone number. Instead of creating a new account, go to the sign-in page and try logging in. If you originally signed up with Google or Apple, click the corresponding button on the sign-in page. If you used email or phone, click Forgot Password to reset your credentials. If you still can't access your account, contact us at support@pickleball.com.
Why do I see "CSRF token is invalid" when I create an account?
This message means Pickleball.com's security check couldn't confirm that you're continuing the same sign-up you started. When you begin signing up, logging in, or resetting your password, a security token is saved in your browser. It makes sure the process can only be finished in the same browser, on the same device, where you started.
You'll most often see this error if you started in one browser or on one device and then copied the sign-up link into another, or if your browser cookies were cleared partway through.
To fix it, close any extra tabs, go back to pickleball.com, and click Sign Up to start again from the beginning. Finish in that same browser on that same device, and don't clear your cookies or browsing data until you're done. If you still see the message, contact us at support@pickleball.com and tell us which browser and device you're using.
Can I switch from Google/Apple sign-in to email and password later?
Your sign-in method is set when you create your account and can't be changed afterward. If you signed up with Google or Apple, you'll continue to sign in that way. If this is causing a problem (for example, you no longer have access to the Google or Apple account you used), contact us at support@pickleball.com and we'll work with you on a solution.
How do I find my profile after creating my account?
After logging in, click your name in the upper right corner of the page and select My Profile from the dropdown menu. If you don't see your name, try clearing your browser cache or logging in again.
Is creating a Pickleball.com account free?
Yes. Creating a player account on Pickleball.com is free. You only pay when you register for paid events like tournaments, leagues, or club memberships.
