How Revenue Share (RevShare) Works for Clubs on Pickleball.com
Revenue Share (RevShare) is a program that pays your club a share of the revenue generated by the tournaments, leagues, and team leagues associated with your club on Pickleball.com. RevShare is calculated automatically each month based on completed events — there's nothing you need to submit or request. This article explains what counts toward your RevShare, where to view your data, and how payouts work.
Before You Begin
- RevShare calculates automatically — you don't need to request or submit anything for it to start accruing.
- Viewing detailed RevShare payment records requires financial/payment permissions on your club. Not every club manager will see this level of detail by default.
- Payouts are recorded and processed by Pickleball.com's finance team, not by your club. Your club's RevShare view is read-only.
What Counts Toward Your Club's RevShare
- Events run under your club: Any tournament, league, or team league where your club ID is attached as the organizing club.
- Events run by clubs in your affiliate program: If your club operates an affiliate program, RevShare also includes all tournaments, team leagues, and ladder leagues run by the clubs under you.
- Events you sanction: If your club sanctions a tournament, league, or team league that another club or director runs, you earn RevShare on that event too — even though you didn't organize it directly.
Where to View Your RevShare Data
Your club has its own RevShare area showing every event that's contributing to your revenue share, along with its current payment status. This view is read-only — you can see your data, but you can't edit it or record a payment yourself. Only Pickleball.com's finance team can do that.
Each RevShare record includes:
- A report ID and the date the record was generated
- The source event — the tournament, league, or team league the revenue came from, with a link to it and its ID
- The event's invoice amount, how much of that invoice has been paid, and any remaining balance due
- Your RevShare amount for that event
- Payment status: pending, partial, or paid
If an event still has an outstanding invoice balance, Pickleball.com may hold your RevShare payout on that event until the balance is settled. This is a judgment call made when payouts are processed — it isn't automatic.
How RevShare Payouts Work
Pickleball.com's finance team processes RevShare payouts, either one record at a time or as a batch payment covering every pending record that matches your current filters. Payments can be made by Stripe transfer, Stripe-to-Stripe transfer, wire transfer, or another method arranged directly with your club.
RecommendedIndividual payments can be made in full or in part. Batch payments always pay the full total of every record included in the batch — there's no partial option when paying in batch.
Every payment, whether partial or in full, is kept as a historical record on the underlying RevShare entry, so you can always see a full payout history for a given event.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to request or apply for RevShare?
No. RevShare is calculated automatically based on the tournaments, leagues, and team leagues associated with your club. There's nothing to submit or apply for.
Can I record my own RevShare payment or mark it as paid?
No. Your club's RevShare view is read-only. Only Pickleball.com's finance team can record or process a RevShare payout.
Why is one of my events showing as pending instead of paid?
An event's RevShare stays pending until Pickleball.com processes the payout. If the event still has an outstanding invoice balance, that payout may be held until the balance is paid, even if the RevShare amount itself has been calculated.
Do I get RevShare on tournaments I sanction but don't run myself?
Yes. If your club sanctions a tournament, league, or team league that another club or director organizes, you still earn RevShare on that event.
