How to Grow Tournament Registrations with the Tournament Growth Hub

The Tournament Growth Hub is a free tool that helps you fill more brackets by automatically building an email campaign and homepage ad for your tournament — with no upfront cost. You only pay a share of the revenue it generates, and only if it generates any. This article covers what the Growth Hub offers, how to submit a campaign, and how billing works. You can also get here directly from your tournament's Dashboard — look for the 🚀 Grow My Tournament button.

    Note

No account or sign-in needed — you'll identify yourself with your contact info when you submit, and access your dashboard through a secure emailed link.

    Before You Begin

    • Your tournament is listed on PickleballTournaments.com — have its URL handy.
    • You have an active pickleball.com club account with a payment method on file (required for billing).
    • Your registration-close date is at least 10 days away — campaigns can't be submitted closer than that.

What the Tournament Growth Hub Offers

    • Email Campaign + First Card — automatically generated emails sent to nearby players, plus a homepage ad slot on PickleballTournaments.com. Performance-based: you're invoiced 20% of the registration revenue the campaign directly drives, and nothing if it drives none.
    • Featured Tournament — a flat $100/month upgrade that guarantees your event a spot in the 🔥 Featured filter and Featured section on PickleballTournaments.com.
    • PT Perks — free partner gear, sponsorships, and giveaways from brands like Vulcan, Selkirk, and JOOLA, free to join.

    How to Submit a Campaign

    1. Go to Submit a Tournament and enter your contact info and tournament URL.
    2. Choose a campaign type and, optionally, add Featured Tournament placement or enroll in PT Perks.
    3. Review your draft, approve it, and your sends are scheduled automatically around your registration-close date.

Once approved, your campaign runs on its own — no waiting on a team. You'll see each email's exact send date, delivery and open counts, and clicks and registrations on your live dashboard.

How Many Emails Your Campaign Gets

The number of emails included depends on how far out your registration-close date is:

    Time Until Registration ClosesEmails Included
60+ daysUp to 3 (announcement, mid-campaign, last chance)
    30–59 daysUp to 2
    10–29 days1 (last chance)
Under 10 daysCampaigns can't be accepted

Prefer to pick your own date? A standalone email option lets you choose any send date at least 2 days out.

    Reviewing and Approving Your Campaign

Drafts auto-generate about a minute after you submit. Approve as-is, or flag factual errors — wrong date, link, or division — for an automatic regeneration (up to 3 per email). The Growth Hub doesn't support free-text copy edits; use your submission notes to point out sponsor logos, divisions, or prize money to highlight, and the copy is finalized for you.

    Checking Your Campaign Status

Open My Campaigns and enter the email and last name you submitted with. You'll receive a secure link to your dashboard — it expires in 30 minutes, but once opened stays signed in on that device for 24 hours. The dashboard shows each email's status and send date, plus delivered, opened, clicked, and registration numbers as they come in.

    Making Changes After You've Submitted

If your tournament details change after submitting, open your dashboard through My Campaigns, find the campaign, and select Report a Change (also available on the campaign's detail page). The team reviews your update and adjusts the campaign as needed.

    Billing and Payment

Email Campaign and First Card charges are invoiced after your registration closes — allow at least 5 business days for the revenue to reconcile. Sign in at Pickleball.com, open your organization's Manage page, then Financials > Platform Fees to review and pay the invoice. Your card on file is only charged automatically if the invoice goes unpaid past its due date. Featured Tournament is billed differently: it's invoiced as soon as you request it, and the listing goes live 1–2 business days after payment.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make changes to a campaign I've already submitted?

Open your dashboard via My Campaigns, find the campaign, and use "Report a Change" (also available on the campaign's detail page). The team reviews and adjusts as needed.

How much does the Tournament Growth Hub cost?

Nothing upfront for the Email Campaign or First Card — you're invoiced 20% of the registration revenue the campaign directly drives, and nothing if it drives none. Featured Tournament is a flat $100/month, billed when you request it.

    Who receives these emails?

Players in Pickleball.com's network who've already opted in to hear about tournaments, geo-targeted to those within range of your venue — not cold outreach or purchased lists.

Does my tournament need to be listed on PickleballTournaments.com?

Yes — submit your tournament's PickleballTournaments.com URL and the Growth Hub pulls the details automatically.

Have a billing or sales question?

Contact sales@pickleball.com for billing, invoicing, or account questions. For tournament-specific questions, use the in-app tools on your dashboard.
