Best dressed at the CIBC Texas Open
DALLAS, TX – The CIBC Texas Open powered by TIXR was one of those tournaments that was just a wild ride. With tornado warnings on day one, monsoon-worthy weather delays, and continual shifting from outside to covered indoor courts – it’s a Texas-sized miracle that pro play even concluded on Championship Sunday.
But no need to worry, the fashion still delivered.
Here’s a round-up of the best dressed at the CIBC Texas Open Powered by TIXR.

I’ve got to give it to Haworth for not only causing some of the biggest upsets of the tournament, but he looked sharp on Championship Sunday. I’ll admit, I judge the male pro pickleball fashion on a smaller scale, but I like this fit. Haworth color coordinated blue and white easily with every single detail and accessory matching the others, no wild out of nowhere pop of color which makes him look clean and put together.

If there’s one thing I can rely on, it’s Callie Smith having a ribbon in her braided hair and wearing something cute on the pro pickleball court. And Texas was no different.
This white dress is just a stand out. The all-white ensemble with cutouts is just so cute. Look closer and see all the mesh details along the hem and neckline of her top that’s flattering and adds a subtle pop of interest. Topped off with a purple hair ribbon, Smith looked like a star.

I’m a sucker for a pleated tennis skirt and every time I see one of the pro women wearing the one from Alo Yoga I’m convinced I need one ASAP. Johnson rocked it in navy and paired it with a white tank top that had zipper detailing in the front – very sporty chic.

And bonus points for her doubles partner and brother, JW Johnson, wearing coordinating navy blue shorts and a white shirt. Nice job to the silver medal siblings.

Todd just continues to deliver every time she steps out on the pro pickleball court. This week in the Lone Star State, she debuted this botanical green ensemble that is close to perfection. Beginning with an Alo Yoga mesh coastline bra top, Todd paired it with a matching skirt with a high slit that’s not only flattering, it’s functional for all court movement. And as always, Todd wears matching socks and a scrunchie to top off the whole look. Expertly put together.

The master of the two-handed backhand shot or “twoey” came to Texas with a mission to coordinate his sponsored ProXR logo on the back of his shirt with the rest of his outfit and I’ll give credit where credit is due. In men’s singles, Garnett nicely matched a black ProXR with a red logo, with red and black shorts. He even wore a neutral black hat to keep the look clean. Welcome to the best dressed list, Garnett.
Up next the pros are heading to the Veolia Sacramento Open. As always in California, there’s going to be some fresh looks on the pickleball court.
