Kyrgios hoping to play pickleball with Mahomes, shares invite on Instagram
DALLAS, TX - A trip to England wouldn't be complete without a Wimbledon visit, right?
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes accomplished that objective earlier this month by accepting an invite from Australian tennis pro Nick Kyrgios, who is currently working the prestigious tournament by providing commentary on the BBC.
After meeting up on-site at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Kyrgios took to Instagram to share a photo of the pair together and extend another invitiation to the three-time Super Bowl Champion and three-time Super Bowl MVP.
Apparently, Kyrgios would like to play pickleball with Mahomes... and we're all for it!
Mahomes and Kyrgios are co-owners of Major League Pickleball's Miami Pickleball Club, of course, so there's a notable connection between them already.
Kyrgios, meanwhile, has voiced his interest in pursuing America's fastest-growing sport at some point down the road.
For now, let's hope these outstanding athletes can hit the 20x44 soon and have some fun!
