How to Set Up Checkout Options for Your Club

To set up checkout options for your Pickleball Clubs (PC) organization, go to Edit Organization → Checkout Options and select a checkout method — if you haven't connected Stripe yet, choose Onsite Payment as a placeholder. Once Stripe is connected, you can activate it for any Pickleball Tournaments (PT), Pickleball Leagues (PL), or Pickleball Team Leagues (PTL) event linked to your Club.

How to access Checkout Options

  1. Log into your Club account on Pickleball.com.
  2. Click Manage in the upper right corner.
  3. In the left-hand menu, click Edit (Edit Organization).
  4. Click the Checkout Options tab.

You need to have a checkout option selected before you can proceed. If you don't have Stripe set up yet, select Onsite Payment as a placeholder until you're ready to connect Stripe.

Connecting Stripe

Stripe is currently the only supported online checkout option for Clubs. Once you've connected your Stripe account here, you can activate it for any tournament, league, or team league linked to your Club instead of setting up Stripe separately for each one.

Merchant Processing Fees

Merchant Processing Fees control who covers the card-processing fee Stripe charges on a transaction — your Club or the payee (the person checking out).

Select the settings that fit your Club and click Save.

Once saved, your checkout option and Merchant Processing Fee settings apply across your Club's checkout and reservation flows immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a checkout option other than Stripe?

Stripe is currently the only supported online checkout option for Clubs. If you haven't connected Stripe yet, select Onsite Payment as a placeholder in the meantime.

What happens if I don't select a checkout option?

You won't be able to proceed past the Checkout Options page. Pickleball.com requires a checkout option to be selected — choose Onsite Payment if you're not ready to connect Stripe.

What does turning off a Merchant Processing Fee toggle do?

Your Club absorbs Stripe's processing fee instead of passing it to the payee. Checkout and reservations have separate toggles, so you can set each one differently.

Does connecting Stripe here automatically turn it on for my tournaments?

No. Connecting Stripe under your Club's Checkout Options makes it available, but you still need to activate Stripe for each tournament, league, or team league individually.
