Kendra Scott releases pickleball necklace, partners with Stop Alzheimer’s Now
DALLAS, TX – A new piece of pickleball bling is always an exciting addition to my jewelry box.
And when proceeds from the purchase go towards a good cause, that’s even better.
Jewelry brand Kendra Scott recently partnered with the nonprofit Stop Alzheimer’s Now (SAN) and released a limited edition pickleball necklace.
The necklace itself is beautiful, but the message behind it makes it all the more special.
Stop Alzheimer’s Now is an Austin-based organization dedicated to finding a cure for the devastating disease. Given the many health benefits associated with pickleball, the connection with SAN makes perfect sense.
In fact, SAN views pickleball as the perfect place to raise awareness through athletes like Zane Navratil, who supports their fundraising efforts.
June was Alzheimer’s and brain awareness month, so SAN joined forces with Kendra Scott and several pickleball players and influencers at the Select Medical Orange County Cup to spread the word. Twenty percent of the sales over the weekend were donated to the Stop Alzheimer’s Now research fund.
Lina Padegimaite and Rachel Rohrabacher wore the necklace, along with Las Vegas Night Owls (MLP) general manager, Kaitlyn Kerr, and broadcasters Michelle McMahon and Hannah Johns.
“I was really happy to help. It’s all positive stuff, helping to fight a heartbreaking disease, supporting Stop Alzheimer’s Now, wearing Kendra Scott’s beautiful necklace, and of course, making it pickleball-themed,” said Johns. “Hugs and prayers to all who have a loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s.”
Charity work aside, the necklace is stunning. Made of 14k yellow gold or silver with an ivory mother of pearl for the paddle face, it also features a small pickleball pendant.
This necklace marks Kendra Scott’s first time entering the picklesphere, which couldn't be more exciting. And seeing this unique piece added to their portfolio reflects the growing interest in pickleball accessories.
While the Kendra Scott and Stop Alzheimer’s Now collaboration has been completed and sales are no longer being donated, you can still take part by clicking here to donate and learn more. One hundred percent of funds will go to research.
