World's largest pickleball facility coming to Arizona in 2026

The world's largest pickleball facility will open in Scottsdale, AZ in 2026.

PURE Pickleball & Padel will occupy nearly 190,000 square feet of space in the Talking Stick Entertainment District and reportedly feature 48 pickleball courts, two padel courts, a pro shop, fitness equipment, a sports recovery center, a restaurant and rooftop bar, childcare and study rooms, office space and a 1,200-seat professional pickleball arena with broadcast booths.

Major League Pickleball's Phoenix Flames will be headquartered at PURE as well.

Co-founders Kevin J. Berk and Brett Warner are obviously excited about the project.

"This is basically a pickleball country club," said Berk, in an October 2024 article by Axios reporter Jessica Boehm.

"This is where you’ve got players all year long, 100-plus degree heat, they’re here at sunrise, they’re here after sunset. If something like this doesn’t work in Scottsdale, it’s not going to work anywhere,” said Warner, in a January 2025 article by Cronkite News reporter Kendall Flynn. "If we can pull off something similar to (the PGA Tour's WM Phoenix Open) for the sport of pickleball where it’s sports, entertainment and it’s participation, this is just the perfect time, perfect sport, perfect location.”

It sounds like pickleball heaven, right?

"The vision for PURE is to find a way to connect the whole community around pickleball and to be able to bring people in who have never played," added Warner. "So, all ages, all skill levels."
