Khlif in, Bellamy out for Miami
DALLAS, TX - Miami Pickleball Club dedicated Round 1 of Friday’s waiver period to its women’s doubles team, replacing Rianna Valdes with Bobbi Oshiro.
The team saved its men’s doubles team for the second round, bringing on Noe Khlif in place of Roscoe Bellamy.
Bellamy has struggled in mixed doubles so far this season MLP season, going 0-7 alongside Valdes through the team’s first two events.
Khlif is somewhat of an unproven commodity himself, especially in mixed, but he is carrying some momentum from quarterfinal runs in men’s doubles at the Selkirk Red Rock Open and CIBC Texas Open. He will now compete alongside Oshiro, Milan Rane, and Eric Oncins.
We’ll see if the move pays off for Miami, who is currently in sixth place in the Challenger Level standings.
