One of pickleball's rising stars made headlines on Tuesday.
Gabe Tardio signed a three-year contract extension with the PPA Tour and MLP through the 2027 season.
The 19-year-old Bolivian was a standout on the PPA Tour in 2024, earning seven medals in men's doubles (4 gold, 3 silver) and two medals in mixed doubles (1 gold, 1 silver).
Tardio also competed for the St. Louis Shock in MLP this past year.
"I couldn't be more excited to re-sign with the PPA Tour and MLP and continue competing against the best," he said. "I'm working hard and improving and hoping to have a big year ahead of me in 2025."
Tardio is represented by Godfather Pickleball Agency, whose roster includes Rafa Hewett, Pablo Tellez, Mari Humberg, and Tina Pisnik, among many other notable names.
