The pros share their pickleball hype songs

DALLAS, TX – I'm probably not the only one wondering what's playing in Ben Johns' headphones as he enters Humana Championship Court to play for gold.

With that in mind, I recently asked some of the pros what their hype songs were.

The answers revealed musical genres ranging from country to EDM to pop hits... and even an audiobook.

Take note of the responses to give them a listen ahead of your next match, too.

First off, we’ve got EDM and house songs for all the best beats.

Maggie Brascia – “Rhyme Dust” by MK, Dom Dolla

Mary Brascia – “Atmosphere” by FISHER, Kita Alexander

Lucy Kovalova – “Reload” by Sebastian Ingrosso, Tommy Trash, John Martin

Jack Sock – “Where Are You Now” by Lost Frequencies, Calum Scott

We can’t have a hype playlist without some rap, of course.

Anna Leigh Waters – “Lose Yourself” by Eminem

Vivienne David – “Let It Reign (feat. Bizzle)” by KB, Bizzle

Hurricane Tyra Black – “Bandit” by Don Toliver

Tyson McGuffin – “Many Men (Wish Death)” by 50 Cent

50 Cent actually appeared twice on this list. Luke Wasson also had “Many Men” as his ultimate hype song, too.

Next is upbeat R&B with some of the catchiest beats that inspire the most beautiful drops and drives on tour.

Catherine Parenteau – “COZY” by Beyoncé

Robert Slutsky – “Say My Name” by Destiny’s Child

Then there’s hip hop and pop punk for all the head banging jams.

Christian Alshon – “Centuries” by Fall Out Boy

Connor Garnett – “New Divide” by Linkin Park

Next, we’ve got upbeat fun songs that make any listener want to serve a perfect ace and do a little celebratory dance.

Allyce Jones – “Bet On It” from the High School Musical soundtrack

Dekel Bar – “It Is What It Is” by Jamie Miller

Thomas Wilson – “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” by Backstreet Boys

And finally, we’ve got miscellaneous.

Parris Todd – “Silverado For Sale” by Morgan Wallen

Ben Johns – “Enchanted” by Taylor Swift

Etta Wright – Silence

Brooke Buckner – Audiobooks

I don’t know about you, but I’m certainly adding a few of these to my pickleball hype playlist.
