Mary Brascia grew up in Mission Viejo California, and she began playing pickleball in 2020 after her parents introduced her to the game.

Mary played in her first PPA tournament in Las Vegas in October of 2020, winning the 5.0 division. She has won multiple medals in pro singles and doubles events and has even invented her own shot, the “Mary-Go-Round,” which she hit at a Major League Pickleball event in 2022. During the 2023 season, Mary was able to obtain her first PPA silver medal at the Acrytech Atlanta Open in Women’s Singles. At the 2024 Red Rock open, she secured the gold medal, again in singles.

She loves playing Women’s Doubles alongside her sister, Maggie. The two were National silver medalists in 2023. Mary enjoys traveling to PPA tour events with the whole Brascia family. You can find them wearing FUN Pickleball hats, her new company, spreading the joy of pickleball through content and community events.

When not on tour, you can find Mary training in Southern California at Los Cab, Nellie Gail & Life Time facilities. In her free time, she loves to try new food, karaoke and do anything fitness related- yoga, zumba, cycling - you name it!
