Anna Leigh Waters trading card sold for $45,000 on eBay

An anonymous someone just made a rather notable purchase that has the hobby world talking.

A one-of-a-kind Leaf trading card of World No. 1 Anna Leigh Waters sold for $45,000 (USD) on eBay on Monday.

The manufacturer confirmed via X that the sale "represents a hobby record and one of the most expensive Leaf cards ever sold."


The 2023 Leaf Pickleball Premier Edition card was sold by an individual whose username is grimmbunny.

The eBay seller has also put another Waters trading card from NetPro up for grabs.

It can be purchased immediately for $60,000 (USD) or make your best offer.

Waters is the winningest player in PPA Tour history with 168 career gold medals.

The 18-year-old is competing in the Lakeland Veolia Open presented by Six Zero this week in Florida.
