The Deep Eddy Vodka Celebrity Pickleball Showdown will feature a star-studded lineup later this week at Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch, TX.

On Thurs., Nov. 7 at 7pm CT, Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd, John Isner, Terrell Owens, Jenna Bandy, Adrian Peterson, Golden Tate and Kris Humphries will compete alongside some of pickleball’s best athletes on Proton Championship Court.

The Pro Am, which is being conducted in conjunctioon with the Lapiplasty Pickleball World Championships, will also be broadcast on Pickleballtv.

Here’s some information on each of the celebrity participants:

Dirk Nowitzki

A 14-time NBA All-Star and member of the Basketball Hall of Fame, Dirk Nowitzki helped the Dallas Mavericks win the 2011 NBA Championship. The German standout spent his entire 21-year playing career with the Mavericks, earning NBA MVP honors in 2007. He retired from the league following the 2018-19 season.

Jason Kidd

A 10-time NBA All-Star and member of the Basketball Hall of Fame, Jason Kidd is the current head coach of the Dallas Mavericks. Kidd helped the Mavericks win the 2011 NBA Championship alongside Nowitzki. He also claimed Olympic gold in Sydney (2000) and Beijing (2008) as a member of Team USA. Kidd also played for Phoenix, New Jersey and New York.

John Isner

A 16-time singles champion on the ATP Tour, John Isner reached a career-high ranking of No. 8 in the world and was a semi-finalist at Wimbledon in 2018.

Terrell Owens

Widely considered one of the greatest wide receivers of all time, Terrell Owens was named to the Pro Bowl six times over the course of his NFL career. Owens is especially well known for his tenure with the San Francisco 49ers, but he also played for Philadelphia, Dallas, Buffalo and Cincinnati. Owens is also a member of the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.

Jenna Bandy

A renowned sports content creator, basketball player and coach, Jenna Bandy is the founder of Game ChangeHER, a female empowerment brand that highlights females everywhere through content, events, partnerships, and giving back.

Adrian Peterson

A former NFL running back and seven-time Pro Bowler, Adrian Peterson spent 15 seasons competing at professional football’s highest level with the Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, Arizona Cardinals, Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans, and Seattle Seahawks. Peterson was named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player in 2012.

Golden Tate

A Super Bowl champion and one-time Pro Bowler, Golden Tate was a wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and Tennessee Titans. 

Kris Humphries

A former power forward, Kris Humphries sported the colors of the NBA's Utah Jazz, Toronto Raptors, Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey / Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, Washington Wizards, Phoenix Suns, and the Atlanta Hawks between 2004 and 2016.
