How fast is a pickleball serve? See exact serve MPH of top pros like Ben Johns and Anna Bright
During the 2025 JOOLA Pickleball Legends Tour last month in Asia, tennis legends Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf, and some of professional pickleball's brightest stars, participated in a fastest serve competition to the delight of specators in attendance.
Ben Johns reigned supreme among the male competitors with his fastest serve registering 68.35 mph (110 km/h) on the radar gun. Tyson McGuffin ranked second at 64.62 mph (104 km/h), while Agassi ranked third at 64 mph (103 km/h).
Zoey Wang reigned supreme among the female competitors with her fastest serve registering 59.03 mph (95 km/h) on the radar gun. Anna Bright ranked second at 56.54 mph (91 km/h), while Graf ranked third at 51.57 mph (83 km/h).
Imagine being on the opposite side of the court awaiting some of these blasts? That could intimidate even seasoned pros before they finally make the necessary adjustments and get their timing down.
There's no denying that pickleballers can bring the heat.
