How to Create and Use Tags for Your Club

Tags let you label and group your Pickleball Clubs (PC) club's members around anything you want to track. Create a tag for an October League session, a 3.0–3.499 DUPR rating band, a clinic, or any other grouping that matters to your club — then color-code it so it's easy to spot at a glance.

By the end of this article, you'll know how to view your club's existing tags and create a new one.

    Before You Begin

    • You must be signed in as the primary manager, an Owner, or a manager with Can Edit Club permission.

    Access Tags

    1. From your club dashboard, go to Organizations in the left menu, then click Tags.
    2. The Tags table lists every existing tag, with its Tag Name, Color, Type, and Player Count. Use Search to find a specific tag, or Export to download the list.
    3. Click + Add New Tag to create a new tag.

    Create a new tag

    1. Confirm the Type is set to Manual.
    2. Pick a Color using the color swatch, or type a hex code directly.
    3. Enter a Name for the tag (up to 50 characters) — make it something you'll recognize at a glance, like “October League” or “3.0–3.499 DUPR.”
    4. Click Save.
    Note

Manual is currently the only tag Type available here. Automated tags — which apply based on rules you set instead of being assigned by hand — are part of the Business and Enterprise fee plans. See How to Choose a Fee Plan for Your Club for details.
