Best dressed at the Zimmer Biomet Cape Coral Open
The most recent PPA Tournament landed in the Sunshine State over Valentine’s Day weekend, setting the perfect scene for festive flair.
Unsurprisingly, the courts were filled with pink skirts, dresses, and shorts as players embraced the spirit of the occasion in style.
These were the best dressed pros from the Zimmer Biomet Cape Coral Open.
Anna Bright and Anna Leigh Waters
The top-ranked women’s doubles duo leaned into the theme in Cape Coral, opting for coordinated coral looks — a thoughtful touch that didn’t go unnoticed. Waters sported a two-tone layered sports bra with a matching skirt from Nike, while Bright paired a baby pink pleated tennis skirt from Lululemon with a red racerback tank (there’s even a similar version available). Dressed like that, it’s no surprise they continue to shine on the pro court.
Alex and Angie Walker
The Walker sisters brought plenty of charm to Cape Coral with their standout looks. In singles, Angie chose a burgundy heart cutout set from Lululemon — a perfect nod to the Valentine’s Day setting. For women’s doubles, Alex stepped out in an adorable blue ruffled skirt from Picopico, while Angie paired a red polka dot top with a classic pleated white tennis skirt.
They’ve matched head to toe in the past, which makes this mix-and-match moment even more fun — a refreshing shake-up that let their individual styles shine.
Adam Harvey embraced Valentine’s Day week in style, stepping out in a head-to-toe pink ensemble (with a similar version available from Wilson) paired with coordinating pink shoes from Skechers. Finished off with a black baseball cap and black crew socks, the outfit strikes the perfect balance between bold and effortless. Notably, this is Harvey’s debut on the Best Dressed List, proof that a playful monochromatic look can instantly elevate your fashion game.
Honestly, I’ll always give credit to a man confident enough to wear pink, and this look from Tardio absolutely delivers. He stepped out in baby pink court shoes from Stria Sport, pairing them with a crisp white T-shirt and raspberry pink shorts. The result? Fresh, polished, and effortlessly clean.
I’m always excited to see what Johnson is wearing, but her accessories might be my favorite part. Specifically, her signature oversized hair bows. They’ve become a staple of her on-court style, so it was only fitting that she chose a Valentine’s Day–themed bow for the occasion. The white bow, dotted with red hearts, paired perfectly with her red dress from 11NIL and a crisp white visor. As always, absolutely darling.
Truong stepped onto the court in a sleek set from Wilson while competing in mixed doubles alongside Hunter Johnson, and I’m a big fan of the look. The subtle texture on her skirt, paired with a zip-front tank, strikes the perfect balance between sporty and chic. She finished it off with white crew socks from Lululemon and white Montis shoes accented with pink laces to match her pink paddle grip. Altogether, it’s an effortlessly cute and coordinated ensemble.
This strappy, fitted tennis dress from Muev is sleek, simple, and incredibly flattering. With pleated skirts dominating pro pickleball fashion, it’s refreshing to see a streamlined silhouette that switches things up. Buyckx kept the styling minimal, pairing the look with classic white court shoes from Nike and a matching pink fuzzy scrunchie in her hair. Clean, modern, and effortlessly polished.
Gio Morelli and Kiora Kunimoto
These newly signed pros arrived in Cape Coral ready to make a statement, debuting two women’s doubles looks that were simply too cute to ignore. For one round, they wore baby pink athletic dresses featuring pleated skirts and a subtle torso cutout (here's a similar version), styled with crisp white shoes. In another match, they switched into coordinating pink-and-white checkerboard dresses (here's a similar version) that brought a playful, eye-catching charm to the court. From sweet and sporty to bold and fun, it was pure pink perfection.
Honorable Mention: Joshua Flores
The PPA MC brought both energy and style to Championship Court. Among his rotation of dapper suits, the burgundy ensemble stole the show on Valentine’s Day, proof that he can elevate the fashion game from every corner of the court.
