Anna Leigh Waters announces apparel partnership with Nike
Anna Leigh Waters announced a landmark apparel sponsorship with Nike on Tuesday morning in a move that makes the 18-year-old the first pickleball athlete to sign with the global clothing giant.
This news comes just a few days after Waters announced a paddle sponsorship with Franklin Sports on Jan. 8.
“Growing up, I watched my idols wear the Swoosh in their biggest moments, so joining the Nike family is a dream realized,” Waters said in a statement. “Nike is the gold standard in performance and I can’t wait to step onto the court representing a brand that believes in the same relentless pursuit of greatness that drives me every day.”
Waters will debut her Nike kit later on Tuesday when she takes the court for early-round action at the Carvana PPA Masters powered by Invited in Rancho Mirage, CA.
