Paddletek unveils Reserve HoneyFoam™ No.001 paddles in exclusive small-batch release with Pickleball Central
Paddletek has officially introduced the Reserve HoneyFoam™ No.001, the first paddle release in Paddletek Reserve, a new small-batch innovation line designed to bring forward-thinking paddle technology to players early.
The Reserve HoneyFoam™ No.001 is now available only through Pickleball Central and Paddletek, with Pickleball Central serving as the exclusive distributor partner for the release.
According to Paddletek, Reserve is built around the concept of releasing new ideas in limited quantities only when they are ready for competitive play. HoneyFoam™ No.001 is positioned as the first step in that program, offering players an early look at what Paddletek describes as the next era of performance and feel.
Limited Reserve Run: “When They’re Gone, They’re Gone”
This release is intentionally limited.
Once the Reserve HoneyFoam™ No.001 paddles sell out, they will not be restocked as “Reserve” paddles. If demand is strong enough to support a broader future launch, the technology may return under a new product name and design.
For players who value early access and the opportunity to be among the first and only players using a new paddle platform, Reserve HoneyFoam™ No.001 is expected to draw immediate attention.

What’s New: Reserve HoneyFoam™ No.001 Features
ADVERTISEMENT
The Reserve HoneyFoam™ No.001 was designed to deliver modern performance with a smooth, forgiving feel, without sacrificing explosiveness or control.
HoneyFoam™ Multi-Foam Technology (3-Foam Architecture)
At the core of the paddle is HoneyFoam™ Multi-Foam Technology, a proprietary three-foam architecture engineered for enhanced dwell time, stability, and forgiveness. The construction includes:
-
A low-density EPP core
-
A strategic wrap of high-performance EVA foam from the 4 to 8 o’clock positions to increase energy return and extend dwell time
-
A perimeter foam ring designed to expand the sweet spot and elevate forgiveness
PT-700 Unidirectional Raw Carbon Fiber Surface
The paddle features a PT-700 unidirectional raw carbon fiber hitting surface, designed to generate elite-level spin while maintaining grit under high-intensity play—supporting heavy topspin drives, dipping passing shots, aggressive roll volleys, and controlled third-shot drops.
Shock Arrestor Edge Guard
Paddletek also included a Shock Arrestor edge guard made with impact-dampening material to absorb shock, reduce vibration transfer, and reinforce the perimeter for added protection and durability.

Pickleball Central Named Exclusive Distributor Partner
Pickleball Central is the exclusive distributor partner for the Reserve HoneyFoam™ No.001 release, and the paddle will be sold through:
-
Pickleball Central Pro Shops

Paddletek
The launch also highlights the long-standing relationship between the two brands. Pickleball Central has worked closely with Paddletek from the beginning, supporting the brand’s growth and helping bring Paddletek paddles to players nationwide.
Pickleball Central Marks 20 Years in Business
The Reserve HoneyFoam™ No.001 release arrives as Pickleball Central celebrates 20 years of business, after starting in 2006 as a hobby project by co-founders Anna Copley and David Johnson.
What began as a small website selling T-shirts from a garage in Kent, WA grew into the internet’s leading reseller of pickleball equipment. The company has remained closely connected to the sport’s heritage, supporting pickleball clubs, YMCAs, ambassador programs, and events ranging from grassroots play to professional tours.
Pickleball Central’s history also intersects with pickleball’s origin story. The sport was created in 1965 on Bainbridge Island by Joel Pritchard and Bill Bell, and the inventors later founded Pickle-ball Inc. in 1972 to supply early equipment. That original company was eventually purchased by Pickleball Central, further tying the retailer to the game’s earliest roots.

About Paddletek
Paddletek was founded in 2010 by Cody Smith in Scottsdale, AZ, and helped change paddle design by introducing the first polymer honeycomb core paddle, raising standards for durability and playability.
Cody was soon joined by his brother Curtis, and the company scaled operations, moving to Niles, MI, becoming one of the leading U.S. manufacturers known for innovation, quality, and support of top athletes and major events such as Major League Pickleball and the PPA Tour.
Availability
The Paddletek Reserve HoneyFoam™ No.001 is available now, exclusively through Pickleball Central and Paddletek while supplies last.
