'Come live out a bucket list item' with elite pros, industry experts at Necker Island Pickleball Forum and Pro-Am

If you’re looking to experience the pickleball adventure of a lifetime - and help those impacted by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires in the process - then the second annual Necker Island Pickleball Forum and Pro-Am is the place to be.

Hosted by Sir Richard Branson from Feb. 27 to Mar. 4 in the British Virgin Islands, guests will enjoy a truly remarkable schedule of activities in spectacular surroundings that focus squarely on America's fastest-growing sport.

"Embark on an exclusive journey with us as we extend invitations to key players in the pickleball world. From thought leaders and investors shaping the future to enthusiastic players, professionals, and pickleball-loving celebrities, our doors are open to a diverse community of individuals passionate about the sport," states the official Necker Island Pickleball Forum and Pro-Am website. "Join us for a week of play, connection, and celebration like never before."

UPA Tour pros Donald Young, Roscoe Bellamy, Kate Fahey, Jessie Irvine, Connor Garnett, and Gabriel Tardio will be on-site to participate in clinics and matches with guests, and share valuable tips and knowledge along the way.

Forum speakers, meanwhile, include a host of notable figures like Rachel Nichols, Jennifer Prince, Drew Brees, Louise Pleming, and Christie Jenkins.

Music artists Morgan Evans, Brad Tursi, Rachel Platten, Laci Booth, and Darius Christian headline the entertainment portion of the festivities throughout the event.

"If anybody has a bucket list for pickleball, this is definitely towards your bucket list," said Nate Parsons, a strategic partner with the Necker Island Pickleball Forum and Pro-Am. "You’re on Sir Richard’s private island, so you have that exclusiveness. You feel like you’re home and you’re in your own space. You’re playing with elite pros, you're hearing from industry experts, and you’re listening to musicians that are literally performing right in front of you. It's an intimate experience that's untouched by anything else."

As far as hitting the court with Young, Bellamy, and company is concerned, it's safe to say that incredible access awaits since the guest-to-player ratio at the instructional clinics is a maximum of 4:1.

Bring on the fun.

"It's the most high-end, low-key event that you’re going to be in. You’ll never get a better interaction with top professionals. You get the chance to really see what the pro level is all about, and then you're also interacting with these players at meals and getting to know them," said Parsons. "Then in the Pro-Am, you’re playing with them. You’re choosing your pro and playing against other amateurs, which is amazing. That’s an experience that you won’t get anywhere else."

On the final day, pros, celebrities, and guests will come together for the highly-anticipated Exhibition Finals, along with a charity dinner and auction.

All proceeds from the auction will be donated to support relief efforts for the wildfires in LA, and will go directly to rebuilding homes, restoring communities, and providing essential support to first responders and those in need.

"Come live out a bucket list item," concluded Parsons. "If you’re a pickleball nut, this is for you, and make a difference in people’s lives at the same time."

Packages on Necker Island are available at a cost of $35,000 per couple.
