Gamma’s CHUCK Tournament Pickleball Named Official Ball of DUPR
DALLAS, TX - DUPR is continuing to make moves as the first month of 2024 nears its end. The company known for its widely used player rating system announced an expansion of its partnership with GAMMA Pickleball, making the company’s new CHUCK Tournament Pickleball the official ball of DUPR events.
“DUPR’s commitment to pickleball aligns perfectly with our brand mission to expand the pickleball community,” said Molly Boras, executive vice president of GAMMA Sports. “We believe this collaboration will support growth and introduce pickleball to an even wider audience.”
This news comes on the heels of the company welcoming a new owner and board last week, in addition to securing $8 million in funding from investors.
DUPR isn’t the only big name to announce a new official ball to kick off 2024. The PPA announced in early January that Vulcan’s VPRO Flight will be the official ball of the Tour for this year.
The CHUCK Tournament Pickleball has 38 holes instead of the traditional 40 that has become the norm for most outdoor balls. It is also said to be engineered to withstand both high and low temperatures on the court.
The ball will debut at the DUPR Collegiate Super Regional on Feb. 3-4 in Illinois. It will be released for sale on Feb. 7 on the GAMMA Pickleball website.
