How the DUPR Reset Works
To qualify for a risk-free reset, simply follow these steps:
- • Register before or during the Reset window
• Play at least 8 matches
Match requirements depend on the format you choose:
- • Doubles: 8 matches with at least 2 different partners
• Singles: 8 matches against at least 2 different opponents
That’s it.
Your Reset rating will be calculated only from matches played during the Reset window.
How Your Final Rating Is Determined
Once the Reset window closes, DUPR will compare two ratings:
- • Your original DUPR rating
• Your new Reset rating
Your final rating will automatically be set to the higher of the two.
This means:
- • Your rating can improve
• Your rating can stay the same
• Your rating cannot go down
In other words: all upside and zero downside.
Good to Know
Here are a few additional details about the DUPR Reset:
• The Reset is optional and risk-free
• It can apply to your doubles rating, singles rating, or both
• There is no maximum number of matches or partners — play as much as you want
• If you don’t meet the minimum match requirements, your rating simply stays the same
• All DUPR matches count, including club play, leagues, events, and tournaments
• Self-reported matches do not count toward the reset requirements
• The program is available worldwide
