Navratil using Cameo to support Stop Alzheimer’s Now
Last December, Zane Navratil raised over $39,000 for Stop Alzheimer’s Now (SAN) in a friendly competition with Altaf Merchant.
A year later, he’s back getting into the full spirit of the Giving Season and partnering with the nonprofit.
Navratil will be donating all the money he earns on Cameo during the month of December to SAN, he announced on social media.
The 60-time pro medalist has a personal connection with Alzheimer's, and a noble reason for wanting to work with SAN specifically.
“My grandmother suffered from Alzheimer’s, and I saw her go from a kind, generous lady to an angry and confused person,” he said. “Watching her deteriorate left a lasting impression on me, so when I met Shaun McDuffee in Austin and he told me about Stop Alzheimer’s Now, I was immediately on board. I checked their financials, and they give 100% of their gross revenue to Alzheimer’s research. I’m honored to be able to raise money for such a great cause!"
Navratil has raised nearly $2,000 so far with almost 50 videos filmed. You can visit his cameo to request a custom video for just $5 and support the effort.
