HEAD built the Project Flex around a frame that bends a little on contact, will keep the ball on the face longer, and give you more control over where it goes. In this first look, we break down how the DualFusion frame is supposed to work, walk through the specs, and share our early impressions of how the paddle actually feels when you start hitting with it.

The Project Flex uses a stiff carbon outer frame paired with a softer inner layer, which HEAD says creates a predictable flex rather than a mushy one. Whether that translates into real touch at the kitchen line or just a marketing story is the question we set out to start answering.
