5s easily defeat Squeeze in regulation victory at MLP Austin
The New Jersey 5s (7-1, 19 points) cruised to a 3-1 regulation victory over the Orlando Squeeze (9-5, 25 points) at MLP Austin on Sunday afternoon.
It was the first of four Premier Level battles on the schedule at Austin Pickle Ranch.
The 5s play again at 4:30pm CT against the defending champion Dallas Flash (7-0, 20 points) in a rematch of the 2024 MLP Finals.
"I think our team is just super stoked to get to play them today. I know Dallas has been playing really well, but so have we, so I'm hoping that we can give them a good match," said 5s star, Anna Leigh Waters. "I'm sure the fans are probably going to be more Dallas, but I'm excited to see some 5s out there, and just hoping for the best."
