Actor Da’Vinchi joins Palm Beach Royals’ ownership group
Actor and mental health advocate Da’Vinchi has officially joined the ownership group of MLP's Palm Beach Royals.
Da’Vinchi is among Hollywood’s rising leading men, recently starring in Starz’s No. 1 crime drama, “BMF,” produced by 50 Cent. The series concluded its four-season run in 2025. Beyond acting, Da’Vinchi is a prominent mental health advocate and serves as a National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Ambassador, using his platform to raise awareness around youth mental health.
After discovering pickleball last year, Da’Vinchi quickly developed a passion for the sport and has been training with aspirations of competing professionally. Joining the Palm Beach Royals ownership group was a natural progression—reflecting his drive, competitive spirit, and commitment to fully investing in projects that inspire him.
As part of the Royals ownership group, Da’Vinchi joins an accomplished and diverse roster of investors, including U.S. Open champion Bianca Andreescu, former UNC basketball standouts Tyler Hansbrough and Marvin Williams, and Indianapolis Colts Pro Bowl defensive back Kenny Moore II. The group also includes seasoned founders and operators from Teamworks, Lyrical Partners, Advertising Week, and Ultimate Software.“Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, and what drew me in was the opportunity to be involved at the ownership level as the league and its teams continue to professionalize,” said Da’Vinchi. “Beyond the growth of the sport, I’m passionate about using this platform to drive awareness around mental wellness, culture, and community—particularly within the Black community—while helping broaden the reach and cultural footprint of the game.”
“Welcoming Da’Vinchi to the Palm Beach Royals is a major milestone for our franchise,” said Taylor Meyer, co-founder of Hyperspace Ventures. “His investment speaks to the momentum we’re building as we prepare for our first Major League Pickleball season. Da’Vinchi brings a unique perspective that bridges entertainment, athletics, and community impact.”The Palm Beach Royals were founded by former University of North Carolina tennis players Zach Hunter, Taylor Meyer, and Alex Rafiee, alongside Peter Fox. The team is scheduled to begin play in the 2026 MLP season.
