Sock, Buckner welcome babies at same hospital on same day
DALLAS, TX - Jack and Laura Sock welcomed their first child on Nov. 14, Brody Bryan Sock.
“Best day of our lives,” posted Laura on Instagram, coupled with beautiful photographs of the couple holding their baby boy.
There was also a heartwarming picture of Jack carrying four bags, pillows, and blankets, showing the reality of the big day.
“Our greatest blessing,” added Laura.
The couple got engaged in Dec. 2019 and married in Dec. 2020.
Back in July, Jack and Laura announced they were expecting via Instagram with a family photo featuring their two dogs and Laura holding ultrasound prints.
“Adding a Little Sock to the family,” posted Laura at the time.
That was followed by a classic gender reveal video of Jack slicing into a blue sponge cake.
Jack made his professional pickleball debut at the PPA Tour's North Carolina Open in May and won gold in mixed doubles alongside World No. 1 Anna Leigh Waters.
He then announced his retirement from tennis in August.
It's only a matter of time before Laura and Brody are sitting courtside watching Jack on the pickleball court.
Meanwhile, PPA Tour pro Brooke Buckner also welcomed a new addition to her family at the same hospital - on the same day - as the Socks.
Enter Margo Ann Buckner.
“The final piece,” captioned Buckner, paired with an adorable photo of her third child.
Brooke married her husband, Adam, in Dec. 2018.
Their first born, Lucas David Buckner, arrived in Mar. 2020, and was followed by the arrival of Elizabeth (Ellie) Marie Buckner in Sep. 2021.
During her latest pregnancy, Brooke continued to play pickleball, even competing in a mixed doubles match in Cincinnati with her baby bump.
