Barstool Sports announces pickleball tournament series
DALLAS, TX - Barstool Sports is furthering its voyage into the picklesphere.
On Tuesday, the company announced plans to host a series of tournaments set to take place throughout 2024.
The tournaments will be held in a pool play format, with the top teams in each pool moving on to the playoffs. Teams in each of the six divisions are guaranteed a minimum of five games, and the tournaments will be played at different locations around the eastern United States.
This isn’t the first time that Barstool has ventured into the picklesphere; in August, the company hosted the Barstool Pickleball Open in Long Island.
The company also keeps up with the sport at the pro level, most recently swooning over James Ignatowich’s memorable ATP at the Desert Ridge Open.
