Dallas Flash name Mark Wahlberg-owned MUNICIPAL brand as official apparel partner
The Dallas Flash announced Thursday that they have joined forces with MUNICIPAL, the premium performance brand co-founded by actor Mark Wahlberg, to create a new look for the 2027 season.
As part of the agreement, MUNICIPAL will provide the Flash with its official team uniforms, performance gear, and lifestyle apparel and footwear.
“This partnership just makes sense,” said Mark Molthan of the Dallas Flash ownership group. “Mark Wahlberg and MUNICIPAL have built a high-quality brand around hard work, performance, and winning. That mentality fits perfectly with what we have built with the Dallas Flash. We want our players to look and feel like champions both on off the court, and MUNICIPAL is the perfect partner to help us do that.”
“When you combine the Dallas Flash winning tradition with what Mark and his team have created at MUNICIPAL, there is a natural fit,” Molthan added. “We believe this can become one of the most recognizable partnerships in professional pickleball.”
The partnership will cover more than just competition uniforms. MUNICIPAL will outfit Flash players and team personnel in a collection of on-court, training, and travel apparel and footwear, while also collaborating with the organization on branded merchandise for fans.
For Wahlberg, who attended the MLP Playoff quarterfinals last week in Newport Beach, CA, this move is about more than just apparel—it’s about bringing together two brands with a shared emphasis on competition, culture, and building something bigger than the sport.
“The Dallas Flash have created a winning culture and an incredible following,” he noted. “We love partnering with people who compete at the highest level and are always looking to raise the bar. We’re excited to bring MUNICIPAL’s style, quality and performance to the Dallas Flash.”
The Flash will take the court at City Pickle in Central Park on Friday for their semifinal series against the St. Louis Shock.
