Garnett, Loong, Jones heading to Japan for Sansan Fukuoka Open
The upcoming Sansan Fukuoka Open (PPA Tour Asia) will feature some notable American names in the player field.
Connor Garnett, Tyler Loong and Allyce Jones are scheduled to compete at Itoshima City Sports Park in Japan from Tuesday, August 26 through Sunday, August 31.
Currently the No. 3 ranked men's singles player on the PPA Tour, Garnett was granted a host wildcard by tournament organizers and enters as the top seed.
One of the pickleball's brightest stars, Garnett has 17 career singles medal on the PPA Tour, including two gold, nine silver, and six bronze.
It shouldn't come as a suprise that Garnett is partnering with Loong in men's doubles.
The Utah Black Diamonds (MLP) teammates are heavy favorites to finish atop the podium.
Jones, meanwhile, is partnering with Garnett in mixed doubles.
Jones is a member of the Black Diamonds as well.
