Groups, partnerships announced for Toys "R" Us PPA Finals
One of the defining aspects of the PPA Finals is the format. Instead of a traditional bracket played through a progressive draw like at every other PPA Tour event, the Finals runs via group play in each division, with the top two finishers in each group advancing to the semifinals.
Group play will run from Wednesday-Friday (one match per event each day) before Semifinal Saturday and Carvana Championship Sunday round out the weekend.
For partnerships, the highest-ranked players remaining got to choose their partners until eight pairings were made. With regard to mixed doubles, the top male players got to pick their partners because the female players picked their partners in the most recent edition of this event in 2024.
