Khlif books spot in quarters with win over Devilliers
ST. GEORGE , UT - Noe Khlif was already having a pretty good singles day at the Selkirk Red Rock Open when he took down No. 6 seed Dylan Frazier in three games to reach the Round of 16, but it seems like things are only getting better for him as the day goes on.
The No. 40 seed dispatched No. 6 seed Jay Devilliers 11-7, 11-6 to make his first PPA quarterfinal.
Khlif overcame Devilliers’ long wingspan at the kitchen line with expertly placed drops and dinks that complimented his cat-and-mouse style.
He’ll look to keep his impressive run going when he faces No. 3 seed Tyson McGuffin with a spot in the semifinals on the line.
