PPA Announces Switch to Vulcan Ball for 2024
DALLAS, TX - In just the latest installment of groundbreaking pickleball news to kick off 2024, the PPA announced on Thursday that Vulcan Pickleball’s VPRO FLIGHT is the new official ball of the tour.
The PPA has partnered with ONIX - known for its quick Dura Fast 40 ball - since its inception, but teamed up with Vulcan to make a ball that will complement the continuous rise in the sport’s level.
“We worked collaboratively with Vulcan, who truly created an elite ball that will allow our pros to play their game in the most competitive and entertaining way possible,” said PPA founder and CEO Connor Pardoe. “It is a great ball for all top-level players where performance and playability come first.”
The VPRO FLIGHT is available now in limited release on Pickleball Central and the Vulcan Pickleball website, while supplies last.
“It is a new day in pickleball, and a special one,” said Vulcan CEO Vince Signorelli. “I am proud that our brand has been a tour supporter since its inception.”
Next week’s PPA Masters tournament in Palm Springs, CA, will be the VPRO FLIGHT's debut event as the official ball of the tour.
