
PPA to host celebrity pro-am during North Carolina tournament
CARY, NC - Celebrity pro-am action is returning to the PPA Tour for the first time since November at the Fanatics Sportsbook North Carolina Cup.
The event will take place on Semifinal Saturday at Cary Tennis Park from 2-3pm ET and will feature some of Raleigh’s local sports stars taking their talents to the 20x44.
Carolina Hurricanes legends Rod Brind’Amour, Cam Ward, and Justin Williams highlight the participants list, with former NBA player and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill basketball great Tyler Hansbrough also set to compete.
They’ll be joined by former tennis stars and current pickleball pros Jack Sock and Genie Bouchard, in addition to some other familiar faces on the PPA Tour.
