Squeeze down Miami Pickleball Club to close in style
The Orlando Squeeze (10-5, 28 points) earned their first regulation victory of MLP Austin with a 3-1 win over Miami Pickleball Club (6-9, 16 points) on Monday afternoon.
The Squeeze were pleased to conclude their stay in the Lone Star State on a high note.
"It's definitely something that we wanted to do, take a little momentum going into the next tournament. It's always a learning experience, so we just want to come out here and continue to get better," said Orlando's Dylan Frazier. "We feel like we've got some things to work on, but we figured some things out along the way, too, so I think we're in good shape going forward."
"This team is just going to keep getting better," added Orlando's Federico Staksrud. "This is a playoff team, so we're just getting ready for the playoffs."
