Staksrud, JOOLA announce rekindled partnership
Federico Staksrud and JOOLA are officially reigniting their partnership after a five-month break.
The two parties announced their reunion in a social media post on Tuesday afternoon.
After spending two and a half years representing JOOLA, Staksrud left the company in January to join adidas Pickleball.
That partnership never really got off the ground, as Staksrud went back to using JOOLA paddles after only one event, though he continued to don adidas apparel.
That stopped at last month’s PPA Orange County Cup, where Staksrud switched back to wearing JOOLA clothing.
That move was, as we now know, just a sign of things to come.
Somewhat unsurprisingly, Staksrud announced the end of his partnership with adidas last week before rejoining JOOLA.
Staksrud, who is one of only two players (Ben Johns) ranked inside the top 5 in the PPA rankings in men’s singles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles, will return to action with the Orlando Squeeze (10-5, 28pts) this week at MLP New York.
