Tennis agency EVOLVE launches pickleball division
DALLAS, TX - Tennis representation agency EVOLVE has entered the picklesphere.
Owned by the former Women’s Tennis Association World No. 1 Naomi Osaka and her agent Stuart Duguid, the company is officially launching a pickleball arm: Pro Pickleball Management (PPM).
PPM will be the exclusive management company for some of the sport’s top pros, including Anna Bright, Federico Staksrud, Hurricane Tyra Black, James Ignatowich, and Rachel Rohrabacher.
Even though PPM is new, this isn’t EVOLVE’s first time getting involved in pickleball. Osaka is part of the ownership group for MLP’s Miami Pickleball Club; Jamie Duguid, who will lead PPM, also serves as the team’s general manager.
Staksrud and Black also played for Miami in 2023.
“Having gotten to know some players in the last year through my involvement with Miami Pickleball Club, I’m delighted to start working with athletes on behalf of PPM and EVOLVE,” Duguid said. “Just like our tennis agency model, we’ve opted to work with select elite players who have the potential to transcend the sport, and we look forward to helping them advance their careers on and off the court.”
