
Terrell Owens, J.D. Martinez and Tfue join Dirk Nowitzki on roster of Celebrity Pickleball Showdown
Dallas Cowboys legend and NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens, World Series champion J.D. Martinez and renowned online streaming personality Tfue will participate in the Celebrity Pickleball Showdown at the Jenius Bank Pickleball World Championships, headlined by Dallas Mavericks legend and NBA Hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki.
The marquee event will take place on Championship Court at Brookhaven Country Club at 7pm CT on Wednesday, November 5, and will benefit the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation through donations and an on-site raffle. Fans around the country can also catch the action live on Tennis Channel.

Owens, known for his remarkable Hall of Fame career in the NFL, including three years with the Dallas Cowboys, will join Nowitzki for the second consecutive year for the Celebrity Pickleball Showdown alongside World Series Champion and two-time Silver Slugger Martinez, and global online streaming star, Tfue (whose real name is Turner Tenney), who has over 37 million followers across platforms and is best known for streaming Fortnite, among other games.

These athletes are passionate about pickleball and will definitely be putting on a show for fans at the Jenius Bank Pickleball World Championships.”
The celebrities will be competing against the very best athletes from pickleball, Ben Johns, Genie Bouchard, Jack Sock, Anna Bright, and Tyson McGuffin, with more to be announced. Johns is considered the greatest male pickleball athlete of all time, while former Wimbledon finalist Bouchard and Olympic gold medalist Sock bring considerable stardom from the world of tennis. Bright and McGuffin have long been fan favorites on the Carvana PPA Tour, with Bright currently holding top three rankings in doubles and mixed doubles, and Barstool Sports even naming McGuffin “The Most Electrifying Man In Sports.”
Thousands of amateur and professional players are expected to compete at the Jenius Bank Pickleball World Championships on 80-plus courts, and tens of thousands more fans and attendees are expected to take in the pickleball action and enjoy the festivities on Pickleball Boulevard at Brookhaven Country Club.
