What's on tap? Monday's events at Jenius Bank Pickleball World Championships
The Jenius Bank Pickleball World Championships begin in earnest on Monday with pro qualifiers (8am - 7pm CT) and amateur play (8am - 8:30pm CT) at Brookhaven Country Club in the Dallas suburb of Farmers Branch, TX.
The Wheelchair Doubles World Championships (8am - 7pm CT) will also be contested, bringing together the best adaptive athletes from around the globe.
The event celebrates the inclusive spirit of pickleball, with players competing in standard PPA bracket-style tournaments and showcasing the continued growth of wheelchair pickleball in the process.
The inaugural performers on Pickleball Boulevard's newly-named FLIGHT by Yuengling Stage is Spjork Band (3:30pm - 5pm CT), who will deliver high-energy mashups, medleys and remixes of dance, pop and rock tunes from the ’80s through today — all played with a fun twist that makes your old favorites sound fresh again.
