Genie Bouchard reacts to Jimmy Miller’s "Hot Girl Summer" tweet
In the wake of the MLP Draft, podcaster Jimmy Miller garnered a lot of attention last week when he tweeted: “Hearing that Genie B won’t be available for the majority of MLP events this year, as it interrupts her "Hot Girl Summer." She already made plans and is not happy about the scheduling. Will be interesting to see how that plays out with today’s draft.”
A lot of people asked Miller: What’s your source? Unfortunately, he didn't share.
Genie Bouchard soon replied with another tweet: “What plans are you referring to? Would love to know what I’m getting up to this summer.”
Bouchard was clearly caught off guard by Miller’s claim. It was only a matter of time before people started criticizing him for his TMZ-style reporting and calling it clickbait.
At the Veolia Cape Coral Open, Bouchard commented on Miller's spontaneous tweet.
“I didn’t even know I had plans,” she said. “So, it was interesting to find out that I had plans from somebody else. Trust me, I’m not that much of an advanced planner, we’re only in March. There’s no way I have something booked in July.”
The only thing on Bouchard’s agenda is having a hot girl summer, no matter the MLP tournament obligations. Hot girl summer can happen anywhere. But considering that Miller isn’t one of the girls, perhaps he simply doesn’t understand.
“I’m going to have a hot girl summer regardless. There’s no stopping a girl having a hot girl summer, so no matter what I do this summer, it will be hot girl vibes,” mentioned Bouchard. “I have some weddings in Europe that I have to go to, so maybe I’ll make a little trip out of them, be cute, be in bikinis, and have fun.”
If her hot girl summer of 2025 is anything like years past, we know it’s going to be fashionable and adventurous, and we’ll get the pleasure of seeing it all documented on Instagram. And girl, we can’t wait to see it.
Though Miller’s intentions behind the tweet remain unknown, one thing is for certain – Bouchard is going to embrace her hot girl summer even more now.
